Alan A. Carlson

     Alan A. Carlson, 73, of Vermillion, SD passed away May 18, 2024.

     Alan was born February 2, 1951, in Marcus, IA to Arnie and Barbara (Puhrman) Carlson.  He attended school in Marcus, graduating from Marcus Community School in 1969, and then attended the University of South Dakota.

     He married Roberta Stevenson on November 19, 1972, and they shared a love of traveling and visited all 50m states and several countries together.   He worked at Kolberg manufacturing for 45 years, retiring in 2019.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Cheryl, and in laws Steve and Thelma Stevenson.  

     He is survived by his wife Bobbi, siblings: Joy (Bob) Dorr, Ann (Ken) Heidesh, Scott (Christy) Carlson, Kirk (Brenda) Carlson.  Also, Nieces and Nephews: Maria, Karen, Abby, Kari, Ashley, Todd, Nathan, Steven and Kevin, and a sister-in-law Sandy Stevenson.
