Madonna Marie Lundeen

We are sad to announce the death of Madonna Marie Lundeen, née Young, 80. She died on October 8, 2023 at Palisades Nursing Home, Garretson, SD.

Grateful for sharing her life are her daughter, Mary Baker Claus, and her four grandchildren, Dan Baker, Crystal Gehrig, Zach (Yaoyao) Claus, and Erica (Carlos) Rodriguez. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Velma Young, her son, Lyle Lundeen, II, her former husband, Lyle Lundeen, and her sister, Ann House.

Her burial will be held at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Wakonda, SD, with a private celebration of life to be held by close family members at a later date.
