Marilynne Jean Kaiser

Marilynne Kaiser, 94, of Meckling, SD passed away Monday, March 2 at the Avera Sister James Nursing Home.

Marilynne Larson was born on September 27, 1931 in the Meckling area to Clark and Clarissa (Myron) Larson. She graduated from the Meckling high school in 1949 and worked at Toby’s Lounge in Meckling and helped on the farm. She married her high school sweetheart Virgil Kaiser on June 22, 1952 in Meckling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Virg, a daughter Clarissa, her twin brother Verlyn Larson, a brother Toby Larson, and two sisters: Betty Lou Nelsen and Darlene Jepsen.

She is survived by a grandson Seann Van Osdel, a granddaughter Ashley Van Osdel, and three great granddaughters: Lorelai, Lily and Lizabeth.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, March 7 at the Bergen Lutheran Church rural Meckling with burial of ashes in the Meckling Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. HansenFuneralHome.com.
