Nicolas Adam Hawley

Nicolas Adam Hawley, 46,  passed away suddenly November 30, 2023. Born to Linda Sorensen and Mark Hawley, October 16, 1977, in Vermillion, SD. He was a sweet, sensitive boy who grew up to be a bright, funny and caring man. There were many things he hated to be called but the ones that he loved best were Son, Brother and Friend. He touched so many lives, was the life of the party and would help anyone who needed him at any time. A trivia master, avid reader of Stephen King, Chicago Bears and Cubs fan and still rocked to Guns ‘N Roses. He could find the good in anyone and wouldn’t say a bad thing about anyone. His quick wit and storytelling skills will be greatly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Josephine Sorensen and Wayne and Joann Hawley; uncle, Calvin Hawley; aunts, Adeline Street, Karen Hansen and Emma Drissen. 

He is survived by his parents, Linda Sorensen and Mark Hawley; siblings, Allison (Scott) Jensen, Arika (James) Bartels, Aaron and Cole Ruhaak; nieces and nephews, Blake (Hailey) Jensen, Abigale (Matt) Stiegel, Rachel Jensen, Natalie Stubbs and John Bartels; great nephews, Oliver and Finn Jensen; along with numerous cherished aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his special friends, Janelle Brown, Nichole, Elena, Olivia and Karla Lewison, Jason Bauerfeind and Scott Rogers among countless others.
