It is with great sadness that we announce Roger Leo Hughes lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on March 19, 2024.
Roger was a loving husband and family man who always helped others.
Roger was born in Vermillion SD on June 30, 1940, to Donald and Opal (Bursell) Hughes. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carol Lee (Schmid) Hughes and children; Roger, Pam, Cindy, Lisa, and Joyce. He is also survived by his sisters; June, Sis, Joellen, and brothers; Terry and Rick.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Opal Hughes, a daughter Katherine Jo Hughes, and brothers Mike and Tim Hughes.
